From Helihub- Thai operator Heliluck has recently sent staff on flights to California and back, solely to pick up an auxiliary fuel pump for a R44 Newscopter which was grounded. Robinson took the part off an aircraft on the production line.
Round trip was reported as 37 hours, according to Robinson Safety Course trainer Richard Mornington-Sanford on his Twitter feed. With the Newscopter going unserviceable on the Thursday evening, the part arrived in Bangkok Sunday morning and the helicopter was back in the air that afternoon.
